Experimenting with a large costume, I tried to attempt making a dome which a performer would dance inside and work with the material until a reveal would happen… The hexagon inspired structure requires either a

My first attempt was to create equal sized triangles, but soon realized the limitations of minimal mathematical exploration. Instead I have kept the shape aside and moved onto another emerging shape for the performer… I hope to come back to this idea, but instead of natural linens and cottons, I will choose a tighter weave, possibly silk, so that a fan or air can maintain the shape of the structure.
